The area is famous for its excellent (20+) beaches.  Closest are Cordoama, Castelejo, Ingrina & Zavial.

Plus we are within easy reach of the ancient town of Aljezur, the stunning mountains of Monchique and the historical city of Lagos.

Vila do Bispo has a good selection of restaurants, a bank, two cashpoints, a pharmacy, health centre, a selection of shops including a bakers and a butchers.

There is also a daily farmers market where, as well as the fresh fish, fruit & vegetables, you can buy local honey, figs and almonds.

On the edge of the Natural Parque do Sudoeste Alentejano / Costa Vincenta, the area is perfect for horse-riding, surfing, walking and cycling,  as well as nature activities such as walking with bees and mushroom walks.
